Back in the early 2000s Andersson released a couple of singles ("Fall Away" and "She's in Love") and a four-song EP. The band enjoyed some radio play in Finland, and we played a lot of clubs and bars and festivals, but we never released an entire album. Our last gigs at the legendary Tavastia Club in 2002 was broadcast live on the radio, and it was so good that we decided to end on a high and focus instead on our family lives (we may have doubled Finland's population over the next few years!).
Andersson subsequently disbanded until one day in 2005, when the band members dusted off their instruments and plugged in again. The Andersson story was not over yet. We had a job to do. We had an album to complete. We owed it to our fan/s. We owed it to our Moms.
Over the next two years we got together from time to time, to play and record in the studio. Most of the songs on the album are new, but you will also find a few "classic" tracks that our most loyal fans will remember from all the evenings we spent together in the small bars and clubs in Helsinki all those years ago.
